These No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Glazed Donut Holes Are Secretly Healthy

No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Glazed Donut Holes
We could all use a little extra sweetness in our lives right now. And who could possibly turn down a donut hole? But also, sugar hangovers are real and not everyone's stomach is stoked about the idea of digesting a sugary ball of fried dough. Which is understandable, really.
These raw(ish) no-bake vegan donut holes make all of these issues obsolete because they possess the power to crush donut cravings all the while hiding the fact that they're secretly healthy. Made with raw, organic Medjool dates to sweeten (a great source of iron and potassium!), rolled oats for a great source of complex carbohydrates (think sustained energy!), raw cashews (healthy fats and magnesium!), stone-ground Dastony sprouted almond butter (almond butter makes everything better. Oh, and it's high in healthy fats and protein) and a decadent chocolate glaze made with Rawmio Raw Chocolate Essentials bars - minimally processed, antioxidant-rich raw chocolate sweetened with coconut sugar.
For a little extra color and fun sprinkle on some plant-based, dye-free sprinkles!
Enjoy!

The Recipe
No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Glazed Donut Holes
Makes 8-12
Ingredients
For the dough:

3/4 cup rolled oats

3/4 cup raw cashews (or walnuts)

2 heaped tbsp Dastony Stone Ground Raw or Sprouted Almond Butter

7 soft Medjool dates - pits removed*

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 tsp almond extract

2 generous pinches Himalayan crystal salt

*If your dates are on the drier side soak them in warm water for at least 30 mins to soften.

For the chocolate glaze

1 Rawmio Raw Chocolate Essentials Bar - Dark, Quite Dark, or Orange work well

1 tsp raw coconut oil

All-natural sprinkles for garnish.

Instructions
For the dough
1. Mix all ingredients in a food processor until well incorporated. Your dough should stick together well when pressed between your fingers. If it's too dry simply add a little bit of water (a very little bit!)
2. Once mixed, roll into balls.
For the chocolate glaze
1. Break up into pieces and gently melt 1 bar of Rawmio Raw Chocolate Essentials with 1 tsp coconut oil using a double boiler method (a heat-safe bowl partially submerged in hot water) until liquid.
2. Roll your donut holes into your chocolate glaze and set aside to dry.
Store in the fridge for up to a week.
