Guest Blog: Rawmio Almond Oatmeal Cookie Dough Balls (Vegan and Gluten-Free!)
Today we have a special treat. Okay, TWO special treats! Joining us on the blog is the amazing Leah of Leah's Plate, a health enthusiast, wife, mama and lifestyle blogger. We love her fuss-free recipes: always whole foods-based, with minimal, clean ingredients, but never at the sacrifice of delicious flavor. Just the way we like it.
Today she's sharing with us all her Almond Oatmeal Cookie Dough Balls made with our bliss-inducing, crave-worthy Rawmio Almond Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Spread - a combination of stone ground almond butter, Peruvian maca powder, vanilla bean, and house-made raw chocolate chunks. You'll notice that this recipe has no addded sugar. That's because our Cookie Dough Spread is naturally sweetened with unrefined coconut sugar (which also happens to be low glycemic and a good source of minerals such as potassium!).
These vegan chocolate chip cookie balls are the perfect healthy snack or dessert. Try one crumbled up on top of a bowl of oatmeal or a smoothie bowl, or simply take a bite when your sweet tooth strikes.
