Buckwheat, while actually a seed by definition, make a great replacement for grains, and can even be used raw if soaked overnight first to "activate" the sprouting process and soften up the texture. Adding in a dollop of Dastony coconut butter to this recipe makes it nice and creamy, and the warming spice combination of ginger, cinnamon, cardamon and vanilla really is perfect for the season ahead.
