Turmeric Glow Lemonade
Difficulty 5 minutes Serves 1
Refreshing, energizing, thirst-quenching and absolutely perfect for the warmer spring and summer months! Especially with a few ice cubes thrown in. Turmeric is an amazing healer with potent anti-inflammatory benefits. It also helps cleanse the blood, and healthy blood means healthy skin.

Ingredients juice of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
tiny dash of black pepper (needed in order to absorb the turmeric!)
2 drops lemon essential oil (optional)
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (or agave nectar)
3 cups filtered water
handful of ice
Directions Add all ingredients to a large mason jar and stir, until well combined.
