The Best Vegan Banana Ice Cream with Cacao and Tahini
Difficulty 5 minutes Serves 1-2
This recipe by Iselin Stoylen of The Uncooked Vegan Kitchen involves magic. No, really. If you've never experienced the magical power of adding tahini to banana ice cream you're in for a real treat. It's a serious game changer - as if banana ice cream and a marshmallow got married and had a baby; yes- it really is that good! If you don't have a food processor, a blender wil work just fine, though it might take a little longer to blend everything together.
Ingredients 3-6 sliced and frozen bananas (depending on how hungry you are ;)) 1 large tsp raw tahini 2 tbsp cacao powder a pinch of stevia, some maple syrup or other sweetener of choice (optional)
Directions Throw all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender and bledn until smooth. Add in a little water or plant milk if needed. Top with berries, dried coconut or any other topping of your choice. Serve immediately.
