The Best Acai Smoothie Bowl

Have you fallen prey to some sweet temptations recently? It's definitely easy to do with Halloween candy literally everywhere you turn these days. How about crushing those sugar cravings while flooding your body with powerful antioxidants that actually help fight inflammation, instead of triggering like refined sugar. This recipe by Marie Reginato of 8th and Lake also manages to sneak in the greens without anyone noticing.
Ingredients 2/3 almond milk or coconut water (or water)
1 frozen ripe banana
2/3 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries (or any frozen fruit)
1 tablespoon acai powder
2 pitted medjool dates
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
1 large handful of spinach (optional, but I swear you can't taste it)
Directions Simply place all your ingredients into a blender and blend until thick and creamy. I like to add the pitted dates right at the end of blending as to leave a few bites of dates within the smoothie. Enjoy!
